Keeping in mind that the Mälarenergi Cup is played in 10 different sports hall, it’s impressing that all found their way to the Bellevue hall where we played our first match. The fun started afterwards when we tried to find our hotel. For some reason, we didn’t drive there one after each other but each car tried to find its own way. Let me make an attempt to trace back the different routes that were taken that day.
Car no. 1, the one I was with, started well. Towards the city center, on to ‘cityringen’ and then turn to the left was the idea. Well, the problem was that this car turned left a little too early… The scapegoat was quickly identified: The person in the passenger seat not only instructed to turn left but also added complexity by pointing to the right side at the same time :-). Anyway, with united forces, car no. 1 found its way to the hotel with a slight delay.

The route of car no. 2 is unknown to a large extend and cannot be reconstructed. The map below is based on the situations when car no. 2 intersected with car no. 1. The driver later blamed the car’s GPS for the odyssey. I say, we’re too dependent on technical assistance nowadays :-). Car no. 2 also safely arrived at the hotel with realtime help from the passengers of car no. 1.

The route of car no. 3 is entirely unknown but since they had already checked in at the hotel when car no. 1 and 2 arrived it can be assumed that they picked the ideal route right from the beginning. Grattis! :-)
